Algeria’s top Instagram stars
Instagram is a popular social media platform in Algeria. It is widely used to get news, watch videos, and see gossip stories fake or true about people.
At the top of the list sits Abderraouf Derradji, the singer, dancer and a rapper better known as Soolking. He incorporates reggae, soul, hip hop and Algerian raï in his music. Derradji, with about 6.5M followers, was born in Algeria in a northern suburb of the capital Algiers. It is worth noting that soolkingofficiel number of followers is about half that of the most followed person in Morocco (Saad Lamjarad at ~11 M).
Second on the list is Amira Riaa, who is a brand ambassador. She has 4.5 M followers. She describes herself on the Instagram account as a mother, wife, entrepreneur, owner of a clothing collection, with interest in fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle
In the third place of the list comes the 24 years old actress Numidia Lezoul. She was born in the state of Tizi Ouzou and is best known for her support role ‘Bouzid’s sister Zahra’ in the television sitcom Buside Days.
